wahrscheinlich ist es lediglich dieses hier:

I have not authorized anyone to speak or hold any press conferences on behalf of Michael Jackson or his family.

A gag order is in effect which the defense team will continue to honor.

                hier ist es

SANTA MARIA, Calif. — A controversy over the gag order in the Michael Jackson (search) child molestation case erupted Wednesday when Jackson's spokeswoman held a press conference and said it had been approved by his attorney.

The attorney quickly responded, saying no one had been authorized to hold news conferences on Jackson's behalf.

The development came as the jurors in Jackson's molestation trial wrapped up their third full day of deliberations. The statement from attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. (search) appeared aimed at assuring the court that his defense team had not violated the gag order.

Earlier Wednesday, in an unusual development with jury deliberations under way, the court announced that prosecutors and defense attorneys planned to release a joint statement within an hour.

The plan to issue a statement was announced after attorneys on both sides met in chambers with Judge Rodney S. Melville (search).

Speculation quickly swirled that it could be a verdict, a plea bargain, a mistrial, a hung jury or something else, but it wound up to be the Mesereau statement on the gag order.
