Es wird am 25. Februar ein einstündiges "seltenes Special mit der legenderen Diana Ross geben inklusive Perfomance". So heißt es auf der Website von Oprah. Sie ist der einzige Gast an diesem Tag. Diana gibt sehr selten Interviews und ich frage mich warum nun ausgerechnet bei Oprah. Das letzte mal war sie vor ca. 10 Jahren bei ihr. Und eigentlich hat sie auch nichts zu promoten außer ein Buch das bald über sie rauskommt, aber sonst? Nächste Woche erscheint ein Trailer über dieses Interview.
Bei Oprah wird es wohl definitiv darauf hinauslaufen das sie Diana über Michael befragen wird. Aber ich denke nicht das Diana es erlauben wird das Oprah sie wegen dem Kindesmissbrauch ect. befragt. Da wird es vorher wohl eine Vereinbarung getroffen das sie sich über diese Themen nicht äußern wird.
Denn kurz vor ihrer Konzertreihe im Mai 2010 hatte sie auch (zwar nur ein kurzes) Interview, aber sie hat NICHTS über Mike gesagt. Das wurde wahrscheinlich ebenso vereinbart...
Außerdem läuft Evans Film 'Mooz-lum' seit dem 11. Februar in 10 ausgewählten Kinos in den größten Städten der USA an.

NEW YORK, NY – After sold-out advance screenings, online momentum, and heightened global anticipation, Mooz-lum, the critically-acclaimed film about a Muslim-American youth’s struggle with his faith and identity, will finally be released in U.S. theaters on February 11, 2011, Peace Films announced today.
Starring Nia Long (Are We There Yet, Love Jones), Evan Ross (ATL, Pride), Roger Guenveur Smith (American Gangster, Do The Right Thing) and Danny Glover (Dreamgirls,The Color Purple), Mooz-lum generated a groundswell of international support this year from thousands of fans in over 40 countries.
Within weeks of the film’s trailer being posted on YouTube, it garnered nearly 200,000 views and over 77,000 people have “Liked” Mooz-lum on Facebook. Additionally, at the film’s New York premiere at the Urbanworld Film Festival in September, nearly 1,000 guests showed up at the 200-seat theater to view the film.
Peace Films has also secured a unique distribution deal with AMC Theatres and has partnered with digital media company Eventful to promote the film’s release. Moviegoers have until Jan. 21, 2011 to log on to http://eventful.com/moozlum and Demand that their city is one of the first 10 cities to see the film by using Eventful’s unique social media platform. They can also spread the word virally across Facebook, Twitter and MySpace by inviting their friends to Demand that their city be the first to see the film at their local AMC theatre on February 11, as a part of the AMC independent™ program.
“From writing the script to shooting the film with such great actors to seeing the positive response at festivals and online, this has been an incredible journey,” says Mooz-lum writer/director Qasim Basir. “I’m extremely optimistic that the release of our film will have the power to give a voice to some and enlighten many others.”
“We are very excited that AMC and Eventful are partnering with us to bring this very important film to an audience that has been waiting to see it,” adds producer Dana Offenbach.
Mooz-lum won “Best Narrative Feature” at Urbanworld 2010 and was an official selectionat both the Chicago International Film Festival and the Cairo International Film Festival this year.
The film has been featured on CNN, NPR, Reuters, New York Times, BBC World News, ABCNews.com, “Good Day NY” and WPIX/CW 11.

Pulled between his strict Muslim upbringing by his father and the normal social life he’s never had, Tariq Mahdi (Evan Ross) enters college in a state of confusion. New relationships with Muslims and non-Muslims alike challenge his already shaken ideals, and the estrangement with his mother and sister troubles him. With the help of new friends, family and mentors, he begins to find himself and open up to an Islam he hasn’t been exposed to. But when the attacks of 9/11 happen without warning, he is forced to face his past and make the biggest decisions of his life.
