Ich sach doch @Memphis ... bin nicht sicher, ob die von TMZ veröffentlichte hausnummer stimmt.
Damals schrieben sie, zit.:
"... In the claim, it says Michael owes the firm $341,452.05 for work done between July of 2005 and February of 2006. "

Also demnach kosten, die nach dem prozess anfielen ... info unter vorbehalt.

Na klar hatte er wohl für alles mögliche und unmögliche seine leute ... was aber nicht heisst, dass das die eigenverantwortlichkeit ausklammert. Weiss doch auch nicht, wer da am unzuverlässigste war ... seine leute ... MJ selbst ... oder die verbindung von beidem. Jedenfalls hat Th.M. später sein geld über's Estate bekommen.

Buchhalter ... wenn mich mein anwalt um bald 350.000 USD vor dem verlust der freiheit bewahrt hätte, wäre das für mich keine frage nach dem buchhalter, sondern ein persönliches anliegen, dass forderungen pünktlich und vollständig beglichen werden.

Den Gedanken verstehe ich, jedoch halte ich es auch für möglich, dass sich MJ gedacht haben mag, weshalb er die Kosten für die Anwaltskosten in einem Prozess zu tragen hat, in den andere in reingeritten haben und an dessen Ende er freigesprochen wurde. Eigentlich hätte man sich das Geld doch bei den Verantwortlichen holen sollen, es ist aber soweit ich weiß, nichts darüber bekannt, dass und ob MJ dies versuchte. Jedenfalls könnte ich eine solche Denkweise MJs nachvollziehen.

Möglicherweise , aber es sind nur meine Gedanken, dachte sich Michael........nur weg von hier, von einem Land, das mich mit Füßen getreten hat.

.......und das wäre auch in meinen Augen eine Möglichkeit. Auch im Zusammenhang damit, dass MJ so gedacht haben könnte, wie ich oben geschrieben habe. Natürlich liegt da auch nahe, dass MJ ein bißchen die Haltung "nach mir die Sintflut" eingenommen haben könnte, aber naja.......

Es ist aber auch einfach nur möglich, das Michael und Mesereau eine Vereinbarung getroffen haben, das es mit der Zahlung keine Eile hat.
Oder vielleicht hat Mesereau Michael sogar darauf aufmerksam gemacht die Prozesskosten von der Gegenseite einklagen zu können, da Michael ja als Gewinner aus dem Prozess hervor gegangen ist.

Wir wissen doch gar nicht, was die beiden vereinbart haben.
Das Mesereau natürlich nach Michaels Tod auf der Gläubiger Liste stand ist ja dann SPÄTESTENS selbstverständlich.

Ich bin mir sicher, dass das in USA nicht üblich ist u. zudem keine rechtsgrundlage bildet. Jede prozesspartei hat ihre eigenen anwaltskosten zu tragen, unabhängig vom ausgang des prozesses; analog im strafverfahren.
Das hiesse ja jetzt sonst, dass AEG Live hergehen könnte und ihrerseits ersatz für die eigenen aufgelaufenen anwaltskosten verlangen könnte. Das halte ich für den einen als auch für den anderen fall für ausgeschlossen.

... ist absolut verfrüht, schon jetzt einen neuen thread "Berufungsverfahren Jackson, Katherine u.a. ./.AEG Live" aufzumachen ... die 30-tage-frist müsste am 02.11. ablaufen ... hat jemand schon was läuten hören, ob jetzt appeal oder doch das handtuch geworfen?
Wundert mich etwas, da doch der mund recht voll genommen wurde nach der urteilsverkündung der 1. instanz.

Katherine Jackson is being pressured by her “greedy” sons Jermaine and Randy to appeal the decision by the jury in their brother’s billion dollar wrongful death case, RadarOnline.com has been told.

The jurors determined death doctor Conrad Murray was competent when he was hired and there was no reason for concert promoter AEG – the promoter of MJ’s doomed “This Is It” comeback concerts – to think he would start employing surgery-style anesthesiology.

Despite the verdict in the five-month trial, Katherine has indicated to her lead trial lawyer Brian Panish that she supports his research into an possible appeal.

More vocal behind-the-scenes are two of her nine living children.

“Randy and Jermaine were stunned and shellshocked… they had been counting on the jury ruling in their favor and were ready for Katherine to divide any financial judgment between all of her children,” a family insider revealed to RadarOnline.com.

“Randy in particular feels that the judge made numerous errors in the trial and that there are significant grounds for an appeal.”

Though the family matriarch is “exhausted from the entire situation,” according to our source, Panish has said she is not yet prepared to throw in the towel.

“She feels that the jurors ended the trial really liking Michael,” he said last week, confirming that Katherine was inside the judge’s locked courtroom when both sides spoke with the six men and six women immediately after their verdict was read.

“One question asked of the jury was, ‘What was your impression of Michael?’ And they said it was way better after hearing what a great father he was and how much he did for humanity,” Panish added.

“They understood he struggled but that he really did his best.”

In the lawsuit, Jackson’s 83-year-old mother and three children — Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket — had argued that AEG was to blame for their son and father’s death because it was negligent in the hiring and supervision of Murray, who gave Jackson a fatal dose of the anesthetic proposal.

However, AEG successfully argued that Jackson had a history of abusing drugs, including the anesthetic that killed him.

Despite the courtroom result, Randy and Jermaine — who were both left out of Michael’s will — are “still pushing Katherine,” the source added.

Ich glaube die Frist einen Berufungsantrag bzgl. des Urteils einzureichen ist 60 Tage.
Zudem gibt einen aktiven Appeal bzgl. des Summary Judgements, der bereits vor dem Prozess eingereicht wurde. Die Frist zur Eingabe des Eröffnungsbriefes läuft am 9.12.13 ab.

Es geht um die i-phone text message, die Karen Faye an ihren Freund sandte. Diese wurde am 9.9. mit der Richterin diskutiert.
Fayes Textmessage:

Das lässt darauf schließen, dass es bereits vor dem Meeting am 20.6.09 (vor dem 18.6.09 um genau zu sein - da sich Fayes Zeilen darauf beziehen...) zu einem Treffen mit Michael kam, bei dem Michael gedroht wurde - if he doesn´t get his shit together - he loses everything, probably even his kids.

Kenny Ortegas Mail, das er in den führen Morgenstunden des 20.6.09 an Randy Phillips sandte passt perfekt ins Bild. Kenny Orgega schrieb:

Zwischen dem 18.6. - Fayes Message - und Kenny Ortegas Mail 20.6. - liegt die Probe, bei der Michaels Zustand mehr als besorgniserregend war. Und auch am 18.6. selbst wirkte Michael sehr ernst - his fear is big!

Ja es wurde dann weiter diskutitiert, dass AEG die Message auf Authenzität prüfen wollte, da man sie einfach auf einem I-Phone nachstellen kann. Faye brachte die ja während des Prozesses vor, hat sie beim Kruchteln plötzlich gefunden.. Weiterhin wurde mit der Richterin diskutiert das Karen Faye mehr als einmal Informationen zurückhielt um Sachen anders darzstustellen. Hier wurde dann ihr "Everything is great" E-Mail an Dileo als Beispiel aufgeführt nach den Proben am 25.06.13.
Man kann das in den Gerichtsunterlagen nachlesen.

Was soll die Message bringen? Wenn authentisch ist es rein das was Faye von sich aus wiedergab und nicht eine authentische Aussage von Ortega.

Rein vom inhaltlichen ist es ja auf Bezug zu "den Kindern wegnehmen" auch unsinnig. Man kann Menschen keine Kinder wegnehmen solgange sie ihren elterlichen Pflichten erfülen, auch wenn sie finanziell klamm sind. Und das die Message Ortega impeachen hätte können (das sollte wohl der Zweck sein) wäre wohl ohnhin fehlgeschlagen und darf man sich dann mal alle verfügbaren offiziellen Botschaften von Faye und Ortega und deren Handlungen anschauen. Und btw. bezeichnet Karen Faye eine Gloria Allred heute als beste Freundin, die in der Tat Anstrengungen unternahm Michael seine Kinder wegzunehmen. Aber das geschah ja nur aus besten Absichten so Faye.

ob sie es ist, ist für mich immer noch zweifelhaft. auch wenn es immer und immer wieder behauptet wird.

wie schnell man jemandem seine kinder wegnehmen kann,
muß man sicher nicht diskutieren.

ich bleibe dabei, sie könnten ihm damit gedroht haben.
was das heißt, muß man auch nicht erklären.
