Erstaunlich, zwei Termine in den USA und einer in Berlin! Warum nicht London oder Paris? Berlin hat eine große Hip Hop Tanz Szene, wie Hamburg und Köln auch, das ist eh nur was für Profis beim Cirque zu tanzen, die Ansprüche sind da sehr hoch.Würde mich schon interessieren, ob deutsche Tänzer in die Auswahl kommen.Ich habe mal einen Bericht im Fernsehen gesehen über ein Casting für den Cirque du Soleil,die sind knallhart beim sieben.Müssen sie auch, um ihren hohen künstlerischen Anspruch zu halten, eben nur die Besten schaffen das.

also wenn ich jetzt net ganz irre, sind tänzer aus michaels letzter show dabei, ebenso musiker aus der band!!! zumindest den mann am schlagzeug hab ich wieder erkannt.

Ob sich auch tänzerInnen aus der original TII truppe vorstellen werden? Wäre das überhaupt erstrebenswert für profis, die 'das original' formten? Ich wüsste gerne deren meinungen dazu ...
Sind welche bei der Immortal tour mit an board, weiss das jemand?

Es beschäftigt mich, ob Michael das erstrebenswert/toll/ehrenvoll fände, sein künstlerisches abbild quasi als dauershow in Las Vegas zu finden?
Hab keine ahnung, wie lange solche Las Vegas legacy shows generell laufen - die Immoral world tour find ich ok (.. ich lasse auch die aus, aus persönlichen gründen ..) aber irgendwann ist auch die permanent show nur noch eine gelddruckmaschine (... aber auch eine sichere bank mit langzeitrendite für das MJ estate ..)

Sind nur so eigene gedanken ...

3 x Cirque du Soleil in der Liste, das ist enorm.Die Immortal Tour ist bis jetzt eine einzige Erfolgsstory und wenn sie nach Europa kommt, wird es weitergehen.Ich finde es einfach... Spitze.

Dance-Auditions für die Permanent show 2013 in Las Vegas



Description
Cirque du Soleil and Michael Jackson’s estate will be presenting a permanent show directed by Jamie King, based on the music and songs of Michael Jackson. The show is set to open in 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
For this new creation, we are presently seeking street dance crews and hip hop dancers (male and female).

Audition’s will be held in:
Los Angeles: March 15th and 16th, 2012 (callback: March 17th)
Berlin: April 11th and 12th, 2012 (callback: April 13th)
New York: May 11th and 12th, 2012 (callback: May 13th)

Requirements for street dance crews:
All or some of these style elements and a signature style/movement that sets your crew apart
Popping;
Locking;
Strobing;
B-boying
All members of your dance crew must be present at the audition.

Requirements for all dancers:
Be 18 or older;
Varied stage experience;
Good improvisation skills;
Good ability to learn and reproduce a choreography;
Excellent ability to work as part of a team;
Very good physical condition; ability to perform eight to ten shows a week;
No fear of heights.
We are not looking for impersonators.

Prepare the following elements to present at the audition:
Dance crews need to present a prepared act on either a MJ song or a MJ remix;
All dancers will be asked to learn a routine from MJ’s repertoire;
Women, bring high heels as well as your regular dance shoes to the audition.

Your résumé (with a physical description of yourself, including any special attributes which you believe would be valuable for Cirque, years and locations of training and locations of professional experience);
Two photos: One portrait and one full body shot.

Die Show war kaum zu beschreiben. Es war einfach zu viel, um über alles zu sprechen. Diese Leute machten es wirklich richtig wie unser süßer Michael. Mir gefiel, wie sie funkelnde, blinkende, leuchtende Sternschnuppen und glühend roten Herzen verwendeten, um auf Michaels LICHT und LIEBE aufmerksam zu machen. Besonders toll fand ich den Teil (ich glaube, es war "Will You Be There?"), als sie Michael umringten mit ausgestreckten Armen, alle in weiß gekleidet. Er drehte sich langsam um und das Bild fing an sich zu verflüchtigten, als wenn dies der eigentliche Geist von Michael war. Für mich WAR sein Geist in diesem Raum. Ich erinnere mich, dass ich danach griff, als wolle ich ihn berühren und ich flüsterte zu meiner Tochter: "Es ist Michael." Ich saß da,verzückt, lächelnd und schreiend und tanzend und klatschend ... alles durch Tränen. Was für eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Mein Michael, mein Michael, mein Michael, mein Süßer. Ich liebe dich so sehr.
Ich bedaure nur, dass der Cirque dies nicht schon zu Michaels Lebzeiten tat.

Ein Bericht auf fb von der show. Es muss gigantisch sein :

The show was almost beyond description. It was just too much to talk about it all. Those people really did right by our Sweet Michael. I loved their use of sparkling, flashing, lights, shooting stars, and glowing red hearts to represent Michael’s LIGHT and LOVE. I especially loved the part (I think “Will You Be There?”) when they superimposed Michael all in white, with arms outstretched. He would slowly turn around and the image would sort of vaporize in and out, like it was the actual Spirit of Michael. For me, it WAS His spirit in that room. I remember just reaching out for it, as if to touch Him, and I whispered to my daughter, “It’s Michael.” I sat there enraptured, smiling and yelling and dancing and clapping…all through tears. What a wonderful experience. My Michael, my Michael, my Michael, my Sweet. I love you so much.
My only regret is that Cirque didn’t do this during Michael’s life.

Wegen viel Arbeit hatte ich es vorher nicht geschafft.... und bei Vorbestellungen werden die Karten nur 7 Tage reserviert....
