Los Angeles - Dame Elizabeth Taylor wants the world to see the new Michael Jackson movie.

The 77-year-old Hollywood legend took to Twitter Monday to gush about "This is It," calling the late King of Pop a "modern day prophet" and the flick the best she has ever seen.

"I was honored with the great privilege of seeing 'This Is It' last week. I was sworn to secrecy, but now I can let you know about it," she wrote. "It is the single most brilliant piece of filmmaking I have ever seen. It cements forever Michael's genius in every aspect of creativity."
She wasn't done there.

"To say the man is a genius is an understatement. He cradles each note, coaxes the music to depths beyond reality," she tweeted.

"You owe it to yourselves and your loved ones to see this again and again. Memorize it and say to yourselves, 'I saw genius in my lifetime.'"

Taylor, who recently broke the news about a minor heart surgery on Twitter, said she wished her vocabulary "encompassed" what she felt.

"If you listen to his lyrics, they are those of a modern-day prophet and it beseeches us to listen to him and what he sang," she wrote.

"We must his take his words of responsibility seriously. We cannot let his life be in vain."

The superstar's messages went out to 174,526 Twitter followers on the eve of the movie's premiere in Los Angeles.

sie meinte, es wäre eine große ehre für sie gewesen, letzte woche schon den film anschauen zu können, sie wäre aber zur geheimhaltung verpflichtet gewesen, jetzt aber könne sie ihre meinung dazu äußern.
Es sei eines der brilliantesten stücke von der herstellung eines films , die sie je gesehen hätte, dieser film zementiert für alle zeiten den genius von michael in jedem aspekt seiner kreativität.
zu sagen, er sei ein genie wäre eine untertreibung, er wog jedes wort ab in seinen texten, schmeichelte der musik, um sie der realität anzupassen. schaut es euch immer und immer wieder an, behaltet es in erinnerung und sagt "ich sah das genie in meinem leben". sie wünschte ihr vokabular würde alles umfassen was sie fühlte.

Also wer geht, soll ohne Hintergedanken in den Film gehen nur mit der Vorfreude, Michael nochmal in Aktion zu sehen, das wird emotionl genug sein und alle Fans an den Rand der Fassung bringen.
Ich werde trotzdem auf die DVD warten, weil ich mich kenne und ich werde meinen Schmerz mit niemanden teilen. Auch wenn ich warten muß, für mich zu privat.
So wie Liz schreibt, wird der Film keine Enttäuschung für die Fans und das wünsche ich Euch allen.

A few weeks ago I got a call from Dame Elizabeth Taylor. She asked if I wanted to go see Michael's new movie, "This Is It," at the Sony Studios lot. Well, how do you turn down an invitation like that?

Before I go into the movie, let me say it was an honor to be invited by Dame Elizabeth. She looked great, and it was really nice to see her. Michael had her over all the time, and we got to spend a lot of time together. She's about as good as they come, and she and Michael were great friends. They shared a mutual love, respect and admiration for each other.

Now, the movie. Dame Elizabeth loved it, and so did I. It was like he was still here, which made it a little bit eerie for me, and very emotional. Thank God I had my Kleenex handy.

The movie follows Michael through the last few months at rehearsals for the "This Is It" concerts. It's a lot of backstage footage of him through the process.

Michael's fans will really enjoy this movie. His creative brilliance comes out in the film. It will prove he was ready to go - he was there, just days away from going to London and doing these 50 shows. He was 50 years-old, and he looked and sounded amazing - a genius to the end.

I'm not trying to sell anything to anybody, but this movie shows Michael was a normal person. He went to work, and did his job, his job was just a bit different. It will also show he was great, up to the very end.

My favorite part of the film was when Michael performed "Human Nature." It's a hard song for me to hear it on the radio or on CD, but to see him perform it on stage - it gets to me. I'm not sure why that song more than any other, but I always enjoyed the way he performed it on stage. It did something for me then, and it still does.

As much as I enjoyed the movie, it was hard for me to watch. I still don't watch movies of my dad. It's just too tough. I have the same feelings about seeing Michael on screen. It's hard to watch someone I've spent so many years with - someone who was such a part of my life - look so vibrant on screen, and know he's not with me anymore. I've had so many losses in the last few years, they're stacking up for me.

I'm told some are speculating there was a Michael "double" in parts of the movie. I can tell you that is simply NOT TRUE. I was there for all the rehearsals. That's all Michael. It's Michael Jackson, and only Michael Jackson. They just want to make a stupid story out of nothing.

I think people will leave the theater after seeing "This Is It" saying "WOW!" Wow because he was about as close to genius as you can get, and the film gives us a rare look at that genius. You can't take your eyes off of him because he's so electrifying. I'm proud of it, and I'm sure he would be too.

der sohn von marlon brando, der jahrelang ein enger freund von michael war, ist von elizabeth taylor eingeladen worden, sich mit ihr zusammen den film in den sony-studios anzuschauen. dieses angebot konnte er natürlich nicht ausschlagen, zumal er wusste, wie tief die freundschaft und liebe und gegenseitiger respekt zwischen liz und michael waren.
nun zum film:
liz fand ihn wunderbar und er ebenso. es war, als wäre michael immer noch bei uns, das war etwas furchterregend für mich und sehr emotional. gott sei dank hatte ich viele kleenex tücher bei mir.
der film zeigt vieles von michael was während der proben hinter der bühne ablief. die fans wer den den film genießen, er zeigt die brilliante creativität von michael und belegt, dass michael in der lage und bereit war die konzerte durchzuführen. er war 50 jahre alt und er präsentierte sich und sang begeisternd - ein genie bis zum ende.
ich werde nicht versuchen, jemandem etwas zu "verkaufen", aber der film zeigte ihn als einen normalen menschen, er ging und machte seinen job, obwohl dieser job sich schon ein wenig unterschied von anderen. der film zeigt, michael war großartig bis zum schluss.
mein lieblingsstück in diesem film ist die performance zu Human Nature. es ist ein harter song, ihn im radio oder cd zu hören, aber ihn jetzt in dieser performance zu sehen, das gibt mir etwas. ich weiß nicht warum, aber dieser song und performance gibt mir mehr als andere songs, ich habe dies immer genossen, ihn dabei auf der bühne zu sehen, es gibt mir was und so wird es immer sein.
so sehr ich den film genossen habe, so hart ist es für mich ihn zu schauen. ich kann z.b. immer noch nicht filme über meinen dad anschauen, es berührt mich zu sehr ,die gleichen gefühle habe ich jetzt michael auf der leinwand zu sehen. es ist hart, jemanden zu sehen, mit dem man viele jahre verbracht hat, jemanden, der ein teil meines lebens war. ihn so lebhaft sprühend auf der leinwand zu sehen und zu wissen, er ist nicht mehr bei mir. ich hatte so viele verluste in den letzten jahren, sie haben sich in mir aufgestapelt.
man hat mir berichtet, es gäbe spekulationen, dass michael gedoubelt war
in einigen Teilen des films. ich kann euch versichern, es ist einfach NICHT WAHR.
ich war bei allen seinen proben dabei, und all das ist Michael jackson und nur Michael Jackson. da wollen sie eine stupide geschichte aufmachen über nichts.
Ich bin überzeugt, wenn die menschen aus den kinos kommen und den film gesehen haben werden sie sagen Wow! wow weil der film so dicht am genie war wie man es nur haben kann und der film gibt seltene Einblicke auf dieses genie. Du kannst nicht deine Augen verschließen vor ihm, weil er so elektrisierend ist.
ich bin stolz über diesen film und ich bin sicher, michael wäre es auch.

Allen Kritikern nahm sie damit den Wind aus den Segeln wie ich finde...
Schon als die Spekulationen kamen mit den Doubels habe ich nicht wirklich dran geglaubt....
Sie war eine seiner engsten Freunde und ihre bewegenden Wort jetzt zeigen nochmal um so deutlicher was sie verloren hat...nicht den King of Pop sondern einen wahren Freund...

es ist natürlich immer sinnvoll und auch hilfreich, wenn jemand bissle sachlich uns in die realität ruft, und trotzdem ist auch diese Dokumentation, wenn es sich um eine solche handelt, auch streckenweise realität und nicht nur show. Jetzt freu ich mich doch bissle auf den film. Ich geh klaro davon aus, dass diese beiden engen freunde keine wirkliche kritik an dem film üben, vielleicht gibts auch gar nix zu kritisieren. Abber wenns doch was gäbe, was den beiden, Liz taylor und miko brando nicht gefalen hat, hätten sie sich sicher nicht so euphorisch geäußert, sondern zurückhaltender.

Nachdem ich das von ET u. MB gelesen hab, kann ich mich endlich wieder auf den Film freuen...vor lauter THIS IS NOT IT war mir irgendwie Lust darauf abhanden gekommen.
