MICHAEL JACKSON - JACKSON PRAISED FOR PLANNING ANIMAL-FREE SHOWS

Animal rights campaigners have heaped praise on MICHAEL JACKSON for his decision to keep his forthcoming comeback concerts cruelty-free.
Jackson came under fire from activists at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) after it was rumoured the King Of Pop would feature a variety of exotic creatures in his This Is It run at London's O2 Arena this summer (Jul09).
But organisers have now confirmed no live animals will be onstage at the gigs - and PETA bosses are delighted by the news.
PETA Europe Director Robbie LeBlanc says, "Wild animals do not belong in noisy arenas surrounded by screaming fans and loud music.
"We are thrilled that Michael won't compound his past mistakes by using animals in his final U.K. shows. Bubbles wouldn't have approved."
Jackson has previously come under fire from PETA supporters for the menagerie of animals he kept in his private zoo at his Neverland ranch in California.

LONDON (chart-king.de) - Michael Jackson verzichtet bei seinen Comeback-Konzerten in London auf den Einsatz von lebenden Tieren. Darüber freut sich vor allem PETA. Robbie LeBlanc, der Europa-Chef der Tierschutzorganisation, sagte dazu: "Wilde Tiere gehören nicht in laute Arenas, wo sie von schreienden Fans und lauter Musik umgeben sind. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Michael seine Fehler aus der Vergangenheit nicht wiederholen wird, und bei seinen abschließenden Shows in Großbritannien keine Tiere dabei sein werden."

BOYZONE - KEATING SHUNS JACKSON SHOWS

BOYZONE star RONAN KEATING is planning to avoid MICHAEL JACKSON's comeback concerts - insisting the pop superstar is a shadow of his former self.
Jackson is making a return to the stage in July (09) with his 50-date This Is It run at London's O2 Arena.

But despite a huge demand from the public to see the Thriller hitmaker in action, Keating is adamant he will not be attending any of the shows.
He says, "I don't want to go and be disappointed. I love Michael - but when I see him in the papers he is on crutches or in a wheelchair. I want to see him do all the moves. I don't want to see someone who used to be Michael Jackson."

Jackson has pushed back four concerts from the This Is It tour that were due to take place at London's O2 arena in July.
The self-styled King of Pop denied rumours of ill health and insisted the postponements were due to creative reasons.
Speaking at a glitzy Cinema Against Aids fundraiser at the Cannes Film Festival, Jackson fan 50 Cent said: "Michael Jackson is such a perfectionist, you know?

"He is the King of Pop. Until some tops Thriller he's going to have that, and the odds are it ain't gonna happen no time soon."

Michael Jackson heart is beating for a japenese circus babe these days and he is trying hard to win over her Jackson is said to be besotted with a baton-twirling circus stnner who he wants to perform at his comeback London gigs.

Jackson, who has already recruited a professional pole dancer to join his troupe at the tour, is about to sign Noriko Takahashi, 30, who is currently appearing in Las Vegas in the Cirque du Soleil production Ka.

Yesterday, sources had revealed that Jackson had fallen for the beautiful Japanese gymnast, who has won six gold medals in 15 appearances at the annual Baton Twirling World Championships, reports The Daily Star.

One of his aides declared: “He’s been infatuated with her since he first saw her in Ka and he’s chatted with her backstage numerous times.”

According to the source, the 50-year-old singer popped out to see the showgirl at least ten times during a six-week stay in Vegas.

He added: “When he moved back to LA, he even pleaded with Noriko to join him there.
“He promised to pay her air fare and offered her a fortune to dance solely for him.
“She very politely declined - she’s a really shy girl - but Michael is now hoping to make her an offer she can’t refuse to perform with him in London this summer.

Michael Jackson 'issued demand for choir of children'

Michael Jackson has allegedly issued demands to the organisers of his comeback concerts in London, insisting on a choir of children that can perform sign language, according to reports.

The troubled singer is reported to have made a request to casting agents on behalf of promoters AEG Live, who are behind the 50 dates at London’s O2 Arena from next month, that the group should be made up of “exactly equal” numbers of black, white, mixed-race and Asian children.
An email from Jackson’s promoters to the agents, reported in The Mirror, also insists the group should include six marching snare drummers who must be “young adults, clean-cut and of mixed ethnicity”.

The email reported in The Mirror adds: “They must be real drummers so please do not waste our time suggesting people who are not.”

The newspaper says the child choir must comprise singers ranging from five to 13.
Auditions are next week in London and the children are being paid for their time. The email states: “No past professional experience is necessary...due to children’s work permit laws we will cast more than one choir.”

A source close to the promoters told the paper that the demands have caused a “logistical nightmare” because of the requests, which also include an insistence that every child can do sign language.

“AEG are desperate to keep Jackson happy and so are pulling out all the stops to make it happen. But it’s a race against time,” said the source.

The concerts will run from July to February next year

David Copperfield Was Never On Jackson UK Tour



Stories in the UK press that David Copperfield was going to perform on the upcoming Michael Jackson London shows are completely false.

“They are 100% not true,” David Copperfield tells Undercover News.
The story surfaced in April and then blew up into a full scale disagreement between Jackson and Copperfield over money. “That release came out on April Fool’s Day and we thought it was a big joke,” he says. “He is a friend of mine from years ago. I haven’t spoken to him in two years and all this press started coming out. No there was never any money discussed or even working on the tour itself. It’s amazing where that came from. Don’t believe what you read. A lot of it is totally made up. I wish him well with the tour. He has been through a lot.”

Copperfield and Jackson have performed together in the past. “We worked together over 10 years ago on one of his other tours so there was contact in the past, but for over 10 years there has not been any kind of working relationship at all,” he said to Undercover.

Canadian dancer Natalli Reznik could join Michael Jackson on tour



Natalli Reznik, a finalist from “So You Think You Can Dance Canada,” has apparently caught the eye of Michael Jackson.

The Toronto-based talent says she recently auditioned to be a backup dancer for the King of Pop’s highly anticipated comeback shows at London’s 02 Arena.

She didn’t make the cut for those shows but has been asked to be a part of a tour, should he launch one, she says.

“So hopefully the show will expand and I’ll go on it,” Reznik said backstage at Sunday’s MuchMusic Video Awards.

Reznik said the audition took place in Los Angeles and Jackson was on hand to pick out talent.

Israeli-born Natalli began dancing later in life, starting with ballet when she was 17 before picking up modern, Latin and hip-hop. Prior to becoming a “So You Think You Can Dance Canada” finalist, she performed in Cirque du Soleil's “Love” before joining Canadian pop sensation Nelly Furtado on her world tour for two years.

Die Crew und die Bühne sind immernoch in Los Angeles im Staples Center. Laut Roger Friedman könnte die THIS IS IT Show in Las Vegas im Hotel Mirage und könnte eine dauerhafte Einrichtung werden.

Der Film von THIS IS IT wird derzeit an Sony Studios transferiert und es ist davon auszugehen, daß der Fim bereist fertig sei, aber noch die letzten Schliffe gemacht werden. Der Film wird nicht vor dem 30. Oktober 2009 in den Kinos sein. Und es wird eine norme Werbekampagne gestartet.

Neben dem Film soll es eine CD geben, die den Film bewerben soll.

JACKSON MOVIE BOOKED IN IMAX VENUES

Although 3D and IMAX venues are usually booked months in advance by movie distributors, Regal Entertainment Group, the nation's largest theater chain, said Wednesday that it is making 25 of its IMAX locations available for the screening of the Michael Jackson documentary This Is It beginning October 27. In a statement, Dick Westerling, head of marking and advertising for Regal, said, "Michael Jackson's This Is It advance ticket sales are extremely popular at our theatres across the country, so we are pleased to continue this momentum by adding the film in The IMAX Experience at 25 locations."

Der neue Song von Michael Jackson: Selbst die politische Presse in Spanien tanzt zu "This ist it". Auf der offiziellen Webseite Jacksons ist der Song schon in voller Länge zu hören - den Redakteuren der Zeitung gefällt das Lied so gut, dass sie schreiben: "Es muss Jackson selbst so gut gefallen haben, dass er es unbedingt live in London aufführen wollte. Es ist so gut wie zu seinen besten Thriller-Zeiten."

Zwar hat Jackson selbst das Werk nicht freigegeben, aber posthum wird es nun doch veröffentlicht, ein neues Doppel-Album kommt am 27. Oktober auf den Markt.
